Ok I am really skipping forward Max was blessed on August 24th by his Great Grandpa Morrish. He was such a good boy and Great Grandpa did the most perfect job. We decided to do it at our home and invite family. It was crowded but it was perfect. Afterwards we had muffins and juice.

Starli must have known Mike was the one because she is not one to jump in to things and she knew Mike was right. Their wedding was August 2! The day after Dayna's. It was in Cedar Hills. I hadn't seen her and her family in so long I miss them so much. Starli looked beautiful as always and I have never seen her so thoroughly happy. It was a lot of fun. Mike is going to be a surgical PA and Starli enters Pharmacy school in September to be a Pharmacist.

Riley Jones before he could go play he had to go around the table and say hello and shake everyones hand he is such a cute boy.

The first wedding of the month was Dayna's She is darling! I work with her. She had her wedding up Hobble Creek Canyon at this Gorgeous Cabin complete with pond, zipline trampoline, tree house and wrap around porch! OH and a Swan!

Smith Family Reunion 2008

So this year we went to the Smith family Reunion at Defa's Ranch. Don't ask me where that is or how we got there but we did and it was great. I hope that we do something similar next year. Max didn't get his usual good naps so he had had enough by the end of the day but we had fun.

I know it does seem that everything is about Max but it is. He is becoming so much fun. I wasn't sure I liked him very much for a while there but I think that was lack of sleep and trying to figure him out. Here are some more pictures I was feeding Max and thought he was so cute, so I decided to take some photos. I think they turned out pretty good considering I was trying to balance him on my knee and take photos.

Yes I realize I am behind.

I am trying to catch up! Max is 7 months old today infact. I am working on it, hopefully in the next couple of days I will get caught up. SO Keep watching. ----Katie

So then this last year we decided since Cooper survived being taken care of by us why not have a kid! Dogs are soooo much easier! You can kennel a dog! So 3 became 4 and on March 4th 2008 Maxwell Jay Emerson was born! Weighing 7lbs 14oz by c-section (because he was just too comfortable in there).

Corey and I decided we needed to have a little fun before we had kiddo's and so we traveled. We went to Cozumel, Grand Caymen's, Jamaica, St. Maarten's, St. Kitt's, St. John, St. Lucia, Aruba, Barbados, Curacao, Puerto Rico, Margarita Ven. ..... We had fun.
